Mobilization

Inspired by the Student Volunteer Movement of the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, ACTS is committed to mobilizing and equipping college students into the Great Commission. Our goal is to impact every college campus in America with a culture of prayer and a lifestyle of mission by planting and fueling missional prayer communities, as well as identifying and developing young leaders.

Three Objectives

1. A Campus Prayer Movement
We seek to challenge students to ignite a culture of prayer throughout the nation by planting missional prayer communities on college campuses everywhere. Our vision is to cover our nation with worship and contending prayer for breakthrough in our generation. We believe this movement of prayer would be marked by persistence, commitment to revival, and the finishing of the Great Commission in our generation.

2. A New Jesus Movement
God radically visited the hippie generation of the 1960’s and awakened hundreds of thousands of youth to the love and grace of God. This movement was marked by young adults who were committed to evangelizing and discipling their generation. We are calling students to labor for a new Jesus Movement to sweep across the college campuses and our entire nation.

3. A New Student Volunteer Movement
Over 130 years ago, God stirred college students in our nation to finish the task of world evangelization. Within 30 short years, over 20,000 students set sail to go to the foreign mission field, and nearly 100,000 were mobilized in America to pray, and give to completing the task of the Great Commission. We believe that the Lord is raising up another student missions movement that will testify to the unmatched worth of Jesus, and touch the ends of the earth with the proclamation of the Gospel.
